Almost Done!!!

Almost the end of the semester....it has been awhile, but busy, busy, busy little student I have been!  Here are a few pics from my Painting I sketchbook.

I signed up for my Summer semester....Archeology 1000, Music:History of Rock & Roll from 1968 to 1990, and an online course - Children's Literature.

After this summer I will be DONE my B.A.....YAAAAHHHHH!!!!  I have applied to the Faculty of Education, and hopefully....fingers crossed.....I will start my practicums this Fall.
Right now I have 2 BIG final projects on the go.  One big painting (4' x 3') and a 3 to 6 minute video for my Video Sketchbook class.  So once I have everything done....I will post.

New Semester - Painting I

I am now into my 2nd semester of my 2nd year at University.  For this semester I have the following classes.

Neuroscience: Brain & Behaviour
Media Arts II - Video Sketchbook
Painting I
Art History - Western Prehistory through to the French Revolution

They seem really interesting, and the 2 art classes are my very last that is required for my B.A.  For my Painting class we need to create an art journal/sketchbook...oh, darn...I hate those things....he he he he!!!

Here is the inside cover and introductory pages.  I promise I'll have more to come, and I won't wait until the end of the semester to do it.

New Art Journal - The Philosophies of Mine!

A new art journal to share with you ~ "The Philosophies of Mine"

This journal will be filled with my own thoughts and philosophies about my own life and experiences!  I will be adding to this journal as I go, so far I only have these 3 pages to add.

Photo Arts I - SCRAPBOOK

Photo Arts Scrapbook ~ Enjoy!!

My scapbook was entirely made by me.  I bought large watercolor paper, then cut and folded them into mini books.  I then put all of the books together into a larger book.  The cover is made of scrap upholstery, embelishments, and printed images from the internet.

I entitled my scrapbook - "Overlooked in the Pit of my Pocket"

These photos below were a series.  I used my daughter's stuffed duck as a real person, set in "human" situations.  I thought they were really cute....my classmates thought they were hilarious!!

The old store is actually in Fort Macleod.  It only opens during the summer season.
