Trip to Heritage Park

     The kids and I took a trip this past week to Calaway Park and Heritage Park in Calgary.  The kids really enjoyed the rides, but out of the 2 days, I enjoyed Heritage Park the most.  I finally got my vintage picture taken in old clothes with my family, which I've always wanted to do.

     My son wasn't happy about it, but I think he really captured the look of the time...don't you?  They never used to smile back then in photographs.  I just love this picture and now I have to find an old picture frame to keep in for always.

     After we took the picture, we all really enjoyed our visit at Heritage Park.

Fort Macleod Quilt Show 2010 - Part 1

    
This past Saturday, I attended the Fort Macleod Quilt Show 2010.  But before I got off work to actually take some pics for my blog.  One of the organizers came into the store and asked that a cake be made for the Quilt Show.  Since I was working in the Bakery that day, I said sure I can make a cake for the quilt show....so I did.  The remaining pics are quilts that were in the show amoung the other fort sites that were there. 

There were more quilts last year than this year, nevertheless, it was a great show.  Take a look and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
